Dr. Ras Grewal
MD, FRCPC

Rasveg S. Grewal, MD, FRCPC graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 2002. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine in 2005 and Fellowship in Cardiology in 2008 at Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He holds certification in Internal Medicine and in Cardiology from both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He also has specialized training in adult echocardiography and nuclear cardiology, carrying diplomate status with the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.

His professional interests in adult cardiology include risk assessment, primary prevention, diagnosis, and the management of chronic cardiac conditions such as heart failure, arrhythmias and angina. He has active privileges at the Queensway Carleton Hospital where he maintains a heart failure clinic and an acute chest pain clinic.

His interests outside of medicine include reading literature, movies, hockey and hiking.
