Georgios Tsimiklis MDCM, FRCPC graduated from McGill University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto in 2007 and then went on to specialize and complete training in Cardiology at Queen’s University in 2010. Dr. Tsimiklis holds certification in Internal Medicine and Cardiology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
His professional focus in adult cardiology includes risk assessment, primary prevention, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia, valvular disease, and congestive heart failure. He also has special interest in cardiac diagnostics including echocardiography and he is diplomate certified in nuclear cardiology with the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Tsimiklis has active privileges at the Queensway Carleton Hospital where he provides inpatient Cardiology consultation services, in addition to management of patients in the congestive heart failure clinic and the acute chest pain clinic.
His spoken languages include English, Greek and French.
